Richard J. Hilton

Richard Hilton is a freelance website application developer and designer based in Durham, UK, the brains behind Hiltonian Media and Sacristy Press, and a tutor at Grey College, Durham University (his alma mater).

Ecclesiastically, Richard fulfils manifold and sundry duties at Durham Cathedral — not least as a Verger — and is a liberal-ish high-church Anglican.

Aside from all-things-technical, Richard's main interest lies in music. Over the years, he has played his 'cello in various amateur orchestras and, on occasion, taken up the baton and conducted. He sings in the Chapel Choir at Grey College.

Richard also enjoys classic British comedy, especially on the talking-type wireless; Clue, Goons and Count Arthur Strong are amongst his favourites. The great game of Mornington Crescent has been known to keep him occupied for days on end.
